Here I am!..

       Wow here I am! I hate to skip such a long time on here, life has just gotten the best of me, with it's good and it's bads. To start off we (me and the kids) moved in with my boyfriend in March, as we were getting settled in, we discovered we were pregnant! Only to have that happiness come crashing down, due to the baby had stopped growing :(, which my body never miss carried so I had to take medicine to have my body do it. We are still trying to over come this bump in the road. In the mean time of all that had a death in the family..

    Now here it is the end of May, jeez where has the time gone! I mean really, seems like it was just a few days ago we were bringing in the new year. The month of May was lightweight hectic because finals were coming up and my sons birthday just passed (May 26th). He is now 7. Somebody please tell him to stop growing! 

     The kids will be ending their school year next Wednesday. This year has totally flown by, I can't believe I'll have a 2nd grader, 5th grader, and one another year closer to pre-school. I wish I could just pause life and enjoy these moments of my kids growing. I guess that is what pictures are for! Lol

Weekend fun! 2-1-14

This past weekend they had free museum day here, there was like 30 that participated so we had a hard time choosing which one to go to. But we chose the Aerospace museum. It had a lot of old planes and some newer. The kids had a blast, especially Layla, going in most of the planes and being able to "drive" them and push all the buttons. 

I thought this of fire truck was pretty neat.

Super bowl Sunday was also this weekend. We were going to have a get together at our house, but decided to go to Joe's friends house instead. We had fun but I forgot to take some pics. I do have a few of Layla though.

Tasty Tuesday 1-28-14 Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes

Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes

I made these on Thanksgiving and they came out soo good, and I don't even like pumpkin pie! 

Ingredients:

(1)15oz pumpkin purée

1/2 cup of sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar 

(2) large eggs  

(1) teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 cup evaporated milk

2/3 cup all purpose flour

(2) teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Directions: 

*Preheat oven to 350 degrees 

*Line muffin tin with silicone or foil liners, or you can spray it with cooking spray. Don't use the paper liners because they stick pretty bad and are hard to get off the pumpkin pie. (Trust me I did and it sucked!)

*Mix the pumpkin, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and evaporated milk.

*Add the flour,pumpkin spice, salt, baking soda and baking powder to the mixture

*Fill each muffin cup with 1/3 cup of the mixture 

*Bake for 20 minutes 

*Let them cool 

*Remove cupcakes and chill in the fridge for about 30 mins 

*top with whip cream and more pumpkin spice 

(I did the last part right before I served them or wanted to eat one)

Tuesday with Monday madness

What a busy start to the week! I started school Monday and it's a big change for me from staying home! It's going to take a little bit of getting used to, but well worth it in the end! 

Today was the 100th day at the kids school so we worked on his 100 day poster and they had a little celebration in class..

We used colored noodles for his 100 of something that had to be decorated with.

Funny Friday 1-24-14

I'm so glad it's Friday! I have been beyond tired lately. Hopefully that's a good sign! It was pretty slow today but here is today's funnies..

At the moment I am living in apartments, they aren't the worst in the world, but they do have their share of drama, so I thought these pics fit the scenerio just right around here lol.

Wow it's been a long while..

So I know it's been over a year and a half since I been on here, we have been through so much! I honestly do not know why I stopped blogging, but I am back now,I really enjoy it! 

Wow! So it's really been over a year since I've been on here. I can't believe it! I can't wait to start my blog up again. Well lets see my oldest, Zariah, just turned 10 (OMG!! Really!?), my middle, Isaiah, will be 7 in a few months, and my youngest, Layla just turned two! We have all started school again (except Layla of course) including me. Isaiah is loving 1st grade and gets to have the same teacher as his kindergarten year, that's always a plus. Zariah, she thinks she's grown in 4th grade. I am hoping we do not have drama with her and her friends like last year! But other than that the school year has been good so far!

There's been many things that has happened and things I've gotten into doing, so keep your eyes out for those upcoming blogs. We have even decided to try for another baby! Keeping our fingers crossed! 

But for this 'Throw Back Thursday', I'm just going to post some pics from this past summer of the kids, Joe and I. I'm not going to post every single one, 'cause there is a lot lol. So enjoy these and hopefully I can get myself back on the band-wagon into blogging 

This was our 2013 First trip to Disney Land. The kids had a blast! Layla wasn't so sure of the characters, but enjoyed all the rides, light shows, and everything else. :) 

This was at the reptile show they had here, I was really surprised that the kids (especially Layla) held and touched every reptile they had available! 

Layla was all for taking a picture with the gator and even sat in the middle......until it scratched her then she freaked out and only sat off to the side lol
