Welp..

Sooo this whole time I thought al my pages and posts were showing up. NOPE! The dang app I had I guess was out of date and was not working properly :( so I pretty much just wasted time. UGH! I found another app so hopefully this one will work, if not I will just hop on the computer, it's just the convenience of doing it on my phone works better for me with kids and every day life! Well here's to my blog actually working this time! Lol stay tuned!

~Tasty Tuesday 1/10/17~

Guess what day it is! That's right Tasty Tuesday!

Today I have some crockpot chili! I was somewhat skeptical at first because, I've only made this one other time before but forgot how. I could never remember how my grandma made hers so I kind of jus made up my own and to my surprise it turned out pretty good! Even the baby ate it!

So to get started you'll need a crockpot and the following ingredients:

*1 can of Tomato paste

*1 can of Tomato sauce

*1 can of diced tomatoes

*2 cans of kidney beans

*2 beef bouillon cubes

*2 bay leaves

*Onion

*Ground cumin

*Chili powder

*Onion salt

*Garlic powder

*Meat of your choice

A little secret...This was only supposed to be a 5 ingredient recipe..oops!

I didn't have any fresh onion so I used my dried chopped onion, not the same but it worked and my meat of choice was hamburger.

I cooked my meat and put everything in the crockpot then added the meat last.

Then I just mixed it all up and turned it on. Now, don't do what I did, which was start it on high and not realize it until later..again oops! I would recommend low for maybe 4-5 hours or so. And because I started mine on high it was a little on the dry side so I added another can of Tomato sauce and it was okay.

Finished

Just garnish with your favorite toppings and enjoy! We did cheese and sour cream and of course can't forget the corn bread!

~Tasty Tuesday 1/3/2017~

It's the beginning of the year and what a better way to start it off with something yummy! This sweet little dessert would also be good for any Valentine's Day get togethers! I made this for my daughters 5th birthday party and man let me tell you everybody loved it! I've now been asked to make it for every family get together along with my tater salad, which I'll share that another time :)

So here it is! When I found it, it was named "strawberry banana cheesecake salad." That's to long for me to say every time so I just went with "the fluff stuff", but please call it whatever you'd like.

What you need:
*3-4bananas (I use 4) cut up
*1-2 packages of strawberries (I use 2) cut up
*1 pack of cheesecake flavoring
*1 tub of cool whip
*2 cups of vanilla flavored yogurt
*1 bag of mini marshmallows
*3-4 graham crackers (more or less for your taste)

This is so easy! You just put everything, except the graham crackers, in a bowl and mix it. Save some strawberries and bananas for the topping, and when everything is all mixed up cut up some of the strawberries and bananas and put them on top, then take the graham crackers and crush them up and put them on last. Easy peasy!

I like to start with the marshmallows first and the fruit last, but you can do it how ever you want.

Before the mix

All mixed up

Done!

I can't believe how easy this is and how yummy it is! However the shelf life isn't very long :( maybe a day or two. The bananas start to turn brown and mushy and it starts to get a little sticky. I was sad when I had to toss the leftovers.

Heyyy..

Wow! So it's really been close to a year since I've been on here. I can't believe it! I can't wait to start my blog up again. I kind of just got lost in life. 2016 was just a pretty much laid back kind of year. To be honest, I am somewhat disappointed in myself. I haven't accomplished a lot of the goals I set for myself, I kind of just lost myself for awhile there. For 2017, I want to work on finding myself again and doing what makes me happy. I have started crafting and making things again, I will share my work later once I finish setting up my page for it, I also want to start a new 101 goals, and since today is the first day of the new year, I will start today. I will post my goal list soon, and if you do not know what the 102 goals are you can read about it here. Well lets catch up, my oldest, Zariah, just turned 13! (OMG!! Really!?), my middle, Isaiah, turned 9 back in May, my second middle, Layla just turned 5, and my littlest, Miss Tatiana, is currently 20months. Layla has finally started pre-k, even though she is ready for kindergarten, she can't start until the next school year because her birthday is after the cut off date :/. She absolutely loves going to school though! Isaiah is in fourth grade now and is doing really well. It amazes me how smart he really is. Zariah is in 7th and doing okay, she unfortunately got jumped at her new school, but we pulled through that and everything is going good so far. I am going to try to keep up on my blogging and try to post a lot more from now on!

Tasty Tuesday 1/26/16

Lately I've been wanting some chowmein, I haven't been able to go out and get some so I decided to try my luck and make some. It came out decent and didn't taste that bad, but I still felt like it was missing something, so next time I'll have to play around a little with flavor. For the most part though it was tasty!

I started with some cabbage mix and cooked it with some oil for a few minutes..

Next, while the cabbage was cooking, I made the sauce with soy sauce, sesame oil, hoisin sauce, some brown sugar (not pictured), and some garlic..

I just eye balled it..

Careful with the sesame oil, a little goes along way..

Then I took my already cooked chicken and my yakisoba noodles and mixed it with the cabbage.

(I used three packages of yakisoba noodles)

*(also make sure you loosen up the noodles before you mix it. There's directions on the back..)

When I got that all mixed up I used one of the flavor packets from the yakisoba and mixed that with 1/2 cup of water and the sauce that I made. Cooked it for a few mins a wah-lah! Dinner was done pretty quickly! I used already cooked chicken because on school nights, there never seems to he enough time to get everything done! You can choose any type of meat you prefer!

I also made some egg rolls!
I made some more of the sauce from earlier and mixed it with the cabbage and the rest of the chicken and wrapped them up and fried them for a few mins on each side.

I've never made egg rolls before and these came out pretty good for my first time!

Added some fortune cookies and had us a dinner in under 30mins!

Not the best pic but hey that's okay..

2016

The start of a new year...

Hey folks! Okay so it's been close to a year since I've been on, so I probably don't have ANY more followers :(. That's okay I'll just talk to my self. LOL!

Welcome to 2016! I'm not going to say I have a New Years resolution per say, more like baby resolutions. Haha! There's a lot of stuff I want to accomplish, time doesn't stand still and I'm not getting any younger here. So I'm thinking I will re-do my '101 goals in 1001 days', that seems more realistic to me, so keep a look out for my *new* list of goals!

Tatiana is 8 months today!

Hello March

It seems like time is just flying by! Maybe it's true, the older you get, the faster time goes! Can't believe next month we will have our new little addition here, then the month after is Isaiah's birthday, then they're out of school for summer.

So I think I'm going to start a little goal plan every month with a few things I would like to accomplish for that month.

So for this month I would like to:
1. Start the chore chart
2. Finish getting the kids room organized
3. Finish getting my coupon binder in order
4. Start crafting again

That's it for now. Hopefully I can at least accomplish one, I've been feeling pretty lazy lately haha.

New year, same me..

Well with that being said, there will always be things to change each year as life changes. 2014 wasn't a bad year, started out a little rough, but ended great. Filled with love and happiness! My girls had their birthdays then there was Christmas, and every thing else that happened in between. I am very blessed to have my babies and my family alive and well and living each day, I couldn't ask for more. I am very happy to continue on into 2015 with the same love + 1 coming in April :), which we have chose to keep the gender a surprise, but that failed. The ultrasound tech didn't do a very good job keeping it a secret. Anyway here are a few pics from last year..

Our two new additions :)

Tasty Tuesday 6/17/14

Since it's getting hot, I decided to try these gummy bear spritesicles.

Super easy and only a few things needed:

1. Sprite
2. Gummy bears
3. Popsicle holder/maker

I started by making four groups of gummy bears to put in each of the popsicle makers, then I poured the Sprite in..

Then freeze..

Then eat!

My kids only ate about half of the popsicle, because they didn't like the gummy bears hard. I thought they were pretty good!

Saturday confessions..6-15-14

First, I know it's Sunday, so with that being said..HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

So my Saturday but Sunday confession is that I cheated..yes I gave into temptation! I cheated on my diet with two donuts and a bunch of candy, and well some other things I probably shouldn't ate. I just couldn't help myself I have a sweet tooth! So today I started back on my diet! Last I checked I was 7lbs down so I have to keep going to reach my goal! Wish me luck!..
